What can you really say when your team knocks off the #1 team in the nation unexpectedly? It’s one of the greatest feelings a college basketball fan can experience. It’s pure euphoria.

My words can’t do this victory justice, so I’m just going to let this one steep and have the below video do the talking:

Just a few quick notes and thoughts:

  • Thanks to this win the season is basically un-screw-upable. By that I mean the Gophers can lose the rest of their games this season and still end up in the NCAA Tournament. That’s a good feeling.
  • I didn’t realize Indiana was such a bush league team. A flop by jackass Will Sheehey in crunch time to try and draw a flagrant foul on Andre Hollins was pathetic. He seriously grabbed his face like he got leveled even though he wasn’t even touched. An open court flop to draw a charge by Yogi Ferrell down the stretch was almost as bad. It was all very Duke-ish of the Hoosiers. Play the game with some self-respect.
  • Remember when Jeff Goodman called Trevor Mbakwe a “below the rim” player and said he was “sad to watch” earlier this season? NEVER FORGET.
  • Elliott Eliason continued to show some growth and was a key player tonight. Seven points and five rebounds while handling Cody Zeller was huge.

  1. Limited turnovers, pushing the tempo, and Trevor Mwbakwe domination = success, Finally!
