Tickets are now on sale for Minnesota’s road game at Iowa. How fun would it be to show those dreaded Iowans that Gopher fans can travel well too.

The game will take place on January 2, 2010. The second being a Saturday and the first being a holiday, it is the perfect time to travel to see the Gophers take on one of their biggest rivals. Our plan is to drive down on the afternoon of the first and head back north after the game on the second.

Tickers are only $25.00, and there are plenty of hotels in the area with nightly rates between $50.00 and $75.00. This may be the most affordable Gopher road trip around. If only the destination wasn’t Iowa.
