Morgan State added to schedule

No big names yet, but slowly but surely the 2009-2010 schedule is filling in for the Gophers. The latest “confirmed” opponent is Morgan State, according to Jeff Goodman. The Bears join St. Joe’s and Stephen F. Austin on the schedule.

Morgan State isn’t anywhere close to a “name” program, though they can not be taken lightly. They won the six degrees of seperation national title by knocking off Maryland at the Comcast Center, where Maryland later in the season beat North Carolina.

Morgan State will have their work cut out for them if they expect another big upset on the road, particularly against the Gophers. The Bears lose three seniors, all of whom averaged more than 30 minutes per game.
