Royce White commits to Gophers

Look for confirmation later today, but Royce White, for better or worse, is on his way to being a Gopher. Right now, I don’t think anyone can definitively say whether this is a good move or not, considering White’s considerable issues that led to his expulsion from De LaSalle and his less than enthusiastic welcome at Hopkins. However, if he grows up and gets his act together, this is a big step in “closing the borders” and getting big time recruits to stay home.
